Beijing New Youth School is situated in Pinggu, Beijing. Pinggu is one of the seven major districts of Beijing. The very meaning of the place is 'a valley'. The valley is surrounded by low mountains. The best thing of Pinggu is, you can enjoy the beautiful balcony view of grey, white, & blue mountains. The air is fresh & pure as compared to the smoggy climate of interior Beijing.

I have lived in Haidian district for an year. I worked there in BUPT as a foreign expert of English language.

I joined the Beijing New Youth School as an ESL teacher/trainer .
My experience of working with the school is filled with diversifications. I learned a lot while my one year long contract with the school.
The principal, Mr Zhang, is a courteous person. He is a helpful boss. He facilitates his foreign staff. He has arranged the Chinese staff to get climatised his foreign English teachers. The Chinese English teachers of the school become good friends of foreign English teachers very easily. This has been a great source of happiness for me during my stay in Pinggu. I think, being an expat in a foreign land having a nice friendship with the local community is just like being at home .

I have earned worthy professional friends as well. The school has English teachers across the world.
In short, it has been my valuable experience of one year.
