You and concerned teacher should stop making excuses for being badly treated. You'd better teach properly or pack it in. If you concentrate on the teaching, you'll be put on a pedestal, not hunted like a verminous animal. The Chinese need excellent teachers. They won't try to drive them away if they're putting their hearts into the job. You are guests in China, so you should accept the culture!
