I'm not egotistical, I just know I am good at what I do. Acknowledging that fact isn't egotistical, it's just common sense. And I find it laughable that you appear to think it's ok for you to judge others and opine about their ability in the classroom, but one cannot state their own ability without being called egotistical. A common theme on this board; double standards.

The fact is that London Girl is a radical feminist and man-hater who has attempted to poison the minds of young Chinese women in the past.

Still finding it difficult to grasp the right end of this stick, huh? Last time, slowly: I don't care if a Chinese girl wants to sleep with a Western man, that is completely up to them. I do not think that a TEACHER (male or female, in any country) should sleep with their students as their primary focus should be their education not getting their leg over. How you can still fail to grasp this simple concept and how it differs from 'western men shouldn't sleep with Chinese girls' and yet presumably are still able to dress yourself in the morning, will forever be a source of great puzzlement to me.

Well, we could debate human attraction for a while, but let's be honest, most of it would be lost on you. Asian women are beautiful, I can understand the attraction, however I think a lot it goes past the physical and a lot of it appeals to the 'me man you woman' part of your brain and that's perfectly ok, if a little archaic.

there are plenty of selfish and vain asian women, but there are also plenty more who are down to earth, humble and nice.

I'm unsure why you feel the need to make the Chinese distinction, or the women distinction for that matter. There are plenty of vain and selfish men and women everywhere in the world, just as there are humble and nice people. The fact you have to make the distinction speaks a lot more to your own prejudices than it does to your opinion about me.

Also, I would wager you are teaching in Italy, where your boyfriend is from and perhaps where that photo is taken, or Spain.

Well, I've only mentioned that I worked in Italy and have now moved to Spain about, oooooh, 5 times... So not really much of a wager and more an ability to read...

You hit the nail on the head with 'Can't be saved' - unfortunately this board mainly exists so the likes of Turnoi, Silverboy and Concerned Teacher can pat each other on the back at their wonderful displays of wit, logic and knowledge and justify each others sordid opinions. The run scared to the bastion of 'fake-poster!' whenever anyone with a modicum of intelligence appears, rather like sending in a wolf to worry the sheep, will contradict themselves over and over to make their 'points' and are utterly incapable of having an actual, sensible debate. They make a mockery of this board, which is such a shame as it has such potential to be a good source of information. I honestly wouldn't waste your time on them. I certainly won't be again.
