For the last time, I came back at the request of an ex-colleague to give a follow-up review of EFDL, which I did. Immediately after it was posted, the usual suspects began calling me a fake, making snide comments about my gender, accusing me of being a radical feminist for saying teachers should not have sexual relationships with their students and a host of other things. All on the back of of one post saying I wouldn't recommend working at EFDL.

Are you honestly suggesting I should have simpered and apologised to you for attempting to belittle me or mock me? That I'm expected to be all kittens and rainbows when being insulted? Especially when the insults are coming from under-qualified 'teachers' of conversational English who admit to writing one lesson plan for 16 classes? Who don't know a DELTA from a doughnut and who hold some very contradictory and generalized opinions regarding Chinese women (one minute they're nice and humble, which is why you like them the next they're vain and selfish) or just women in general.

If I come across as putting people down it is because I am! You cannot profess to be an advanced level English teacher, yet make the dreadful grammatical or lexical errors Turnoi does. You cannot debate teaching when your idea of teaching involves merely talking and getting of class and in to a boozer as quickly as possible whilst having done the minimal preparation possible, as CT has admitted. And SB no longer even works in the ESL field!

I have no idea what this board was like 7 years ago. I don't care what it was like then. All I know is that it was a playground for bullying posters to validate each other 3 years ago when I first posted and 3 years down the line that hasn't changed.

I have attempted rational debate several times and each time the goalposts are changed and the same tired old insults come out because you can't handle somebody who disagrees with you or who has shown you up for the frauds and hypocrites you are.

Feel free to continue wasting your time insulting me or questioning who I am, I shall only respond to posts from now on that present rational arguments about teaching.
