I wrote the original post, not Somebody. Somebody is an ex colleague of mine and I do know that he does have some of his work published. Lot's of websites that I use to study Chinese do have numbers next to the pinyin in order to make it clear as to which tone it is. I never said that was the only way to write pinyin; however, I did suggest that concerned leecher should brush up on his Chinese before he starts making snide comments at one of my real friends. Do you have any real friends [edited], or do you just spend hours on end trolling on the ESL teachers board, preaching your flawed lack of knowledge? I don't pretend to be an expert in the Chinese language, I never have, in fact I only have a HSK level 4 certificate, but I am working towards my level 5 in a few months.
