Alice In Wonderland - 2007-03-29

I never received SPAM from AmericanESLCentre, and was only contacted after I initially sent them my contact info and resume. So, I don't know whether they are indeed, Spammers, but in my experience, they are not. There are other similarly named agents out there though, so is it possible that the poster who mentioned the issue is mistaken? I wouldn't say that I am singing songs of endless praise, but I wanted to add a positive thread to this generally negative School & Recruiter Review Board, especially since they were so good to me. It's a difficult business to teach in China, as it sounds like you know well, and for those who may be new to the game, it might be helpful to know there are honest parties out there. They never took a fee from me, contrary to another agent who DID contact me uninvited, with a guarantee for a high salary, palacial accommodations, and uh..by the way, half your first month's salary. Excuse me? Then she was going to the school for 2 1/2 times my monthly salary for her, "finder's fee." Hence, my good feeling about AmericanESLCentre, when contrasted to that agent. Thanks for your comments!
