That's great advice about avoiding recruiters. Since I wish to teach younger students, and not in the colleges or universities, it seems to me that teachers with the same wishes as mine have more difficulties finding suitable schools. Even then, the Headmaster holds alot of power. I live in China with my young children, so it's important for me to have a great deal of stability, which is sometimes a rare thing. In my 5 years of teaching in China, only 1 situation involving broken promises has come up, which is the case in which AmericanESLCentre was so heroic.
