This emotive cringing forum phase "as long as you have a white face" seems to be a popular recourse for disgruntled whining teachers who fall from grace because they don't actually want to do much teaching. I doubt whether this university is as black as you paint it. It sounds like they only employed natural English speakers, by your 'white face' little number. It can't be a bad place at all.
