As far as I'm aware, about 400 RMB may even get the whole job done even in a decent, clean and luxurious kind of place (no need for a pink room!), despite inflation in recent years.

I'd even go as far as to say any person that pays 400 RMB in a pink room might be getting ripped off, but that would depend upon the city and the services provided. Personally, I'd say that you're better off paying 400 RMB (or a bit less) for a really high quality erotic massage with a happy ending (or two) rather than actual sex as banging cheap hookers tends to be the fast-food kind of option, if you get what I mean?
