On most forums, the rules are that posts irrelevant to the topic of a thread will be deleted or moved. I think this thread is very important as its existence will prevent future FTs from being treated badly at EV, because they won't apply for jobs there after they have read the thread.

As for your post re Taiwan, I think it's a good post, but in this thread it represents white noise and detracts from the subject of the thread.

As for Silverboy's old post:The poster the truth said Silverboy's post was the other complaint, in addition to his complaints. At the same time, the truth poster had berated my posts as irrelevant coz I had never been in the Yuncheng area. I had said I had, but he didn't respond. I had said Silverboy had never worked in Shanxi. The truth poster didn't respond to that either, but why should he? I wanted Silverboy to confirm that he'd never stayed in Shanxi, and I also said that EV had never hired mostly blacks and some white GWs, which Silverboy had said, not to say EV was good because of that nor to berate Silverboy, but merely to put the record straight!

As for foreigners without university degrees teaching, that is of course very bad. As well as not being in line with China's requirements for its FTs, unqualified teachers will probably be bad teachers in the main. I sympathise with your personal situation, being properly qualified and experienced, China is incredibly dumb not to welcome you with open arms! I also believe what you say that you have done good things for China. I believe you're off to Taiwan, I expect you'll do very well there as a good and experienced FT. China's loss will be Taiwan's gain.
