Hello,

There are scammers who take email addresses from posts on our site and introduce themselves as "I found your profile on the ESL Teachers Board".

There are no profiles on our site.

Be very wary of any proposal they have for you.

Again, there are no profiles on our site, and no database of email addresses. There are just individual posts that, most of the time, include the email address of the poster. In our ReadMe First (see link below), we talk about using a "throw away" email address when posting on a public message board. There is also advice about "Nigerian" letters and protection against identity theft.

Don't hesitate to post on this Scam Alerts board if you feel that someone is trying to commit a fraud, whether they say they saw your profile on our site or not.
