Teacher openings in our language school located in Paris, France

Our TEFL Teachers should have some teaching experience and/or a tefl certificate. Of course we prefer applicants with college degrees. If you do not have any teaching experience you can still teach young learners in our language classes for a lower monthly salary. Further we prefer applicants who speak at least a little of the local languages as this makes classes much easier especially for the beginner courses.

Generally our Teacher have 5 classes per day of which one class has 45 minutes. Teaching hours and office hours combined will not exceed 35 hours per week. In cases such us out of school activities or teachers meetings the teacher shall be entitles to receive extra pay for every hour exceeding the 35 hours. The school will provide the teacher with all required teaching material for beginner and advances classes. Every course leads to a certificate on the end after successfully passing the final examination which is a mix between spoken language / oral examination and the written language / written examination. Teaching hours are from 9 am to 3pm. Possibly the teacher will have free time in between as the lesson plans depend on the class size. Please note that you will be committed to be with us for at least 6 month. Those who leave earlier shall not be entitles to receive the the bonuses.

We provide the teacher with an airfare bonus which is paid out on the end of a teaching assignment with us. This amount is equal to 1000 US Dollar and is covering most or all of the flight expanses. The teacher is entitled to stay for free in a furnished one room apartment with kitchen. The single room apartments are located near to the working place. If the teacher does not like/accept the apartment he/she shall look for another apartment on their own without being entitled to receive a bonus for not using the schools apartment. Pictures of the apartment will be forwarded to the successful applicant prior to his/her arrival to avoid any misunderstanding. The salary is very competitive and it is easily possible to live well with it and even to save money.

Teachers with a Associate/ BA Degree receive a basic salary of 1750,00 Euro plus Benefits and free housing, Teachers with a MA Degree in a relevant field receive a basic salary of 1970,00 Euro plus Benefits and free housing, Teachers with only a High School Degree receive a basic salary of 1200,00 Euro plus Benefits and free housing, Teachers with a degree and a TEFL or TESOL certificate will receive additionally 100,00 Euro per month. 1) The salary is the net amount and local tax rates are already deducted 2) Teachers are automatically enrolled in the health system upon entering a teaching position 3) The teacher will be requested to apply for a work permit / visa on his her own upon signing a teaching contract with us 4) The salary will be paid our every month between the 1st and the 3rd either in cash (in the local currency) or to the teachers bank account
