I also got a job with English is Fun in Bologna, and did my best to search if its real or not but could not find anything until now,
I have already paid for the visa and flight and they now want the accommodation deposit.
I am going crazy now, cause I thought this was legitimate as i searched the names etc and came back legit. I am not sure what to do,
does anyone have more information regarding ENGLISH IS FUN in Bologna.
I am from South Africa.

Hi everyone:
I've been corresponding with a girl in S. Africa who received a similar offer. She said:
"Hello, I managed to get response from the school, they confirmed that they have not been employing any educators, they say there is a scam that is going from their website and they are investigating."
Looks like it's a scam. Beware!

I heard that it's illegal for them to ask for $ for the visa processing. The English language version of the website they referred me to for help with the visa doesn't work. I have serious doubts this is legit.

I had a friend in Italy check out their website. He was unable to find any courses being offered. I think it's all too fishy.

I also received a contract from them after a 5 min interview. Then, they have asked me to wire 190 Euros for the visa processing. The link and the email to the immigration site is not working. I have asked them to provide me with more detail on the levels I will be teaching and did not receive any clear answers. It does raise a few red flags.
Looks like a scam to me. Let me know if you had anything similar post interview. Thanks.
