Re English is fun, Bologna

Good morning,

The primary activities of English is Fun! are creating and distributing educational methods/programmes and holding teacher training courses for said methods.

English is Fun! does not recruit Teachers online and is not affiliated with any other organisation.

Unfortunately, there are emails going around targeting teachers using one or more ESL websites.

NONE has been sent or authorised by English is Fun!.

We are investigating the situation and regret any inconvenience it may have caused you.

Kind regards,

Mirko Moliterni
Director of Development

Re English is fun, Bologna

Hi Sue,

I made the same mistake but paid a lot more, I must have been one of the first ppl they tried to scam as when i searched scam nothing came back.

I lost 1450 EUR.

They are currently still convinced that I think this is not a scam, I want to notify the authorities, so if anyone as any advice.

English is fun, Bologna

I received an email from English is fun in Bologna, they found my eResume on TEFL and emailed me with this wonderful job offer. I had an interview with the school but in some weird way the sound on skype didn't work and we had to type the interview, they gave me the contact information for visa assistance so I made the mistake of paying 190E for my Visa/work permit and then I received information to arrange my ticket and airport pickup but it's all too dodgy because the Visa and airport payment is to the same person (Promise Moses, the name seemed weird from the beginning).

Words from ESL site: no schools in Italy want to deal with bureaucratic nightmare that comes with hiring a non-European citizen.

It's a bit late for me but I know now that this is a scam!!
