An established English training centre in Bao'an centre (Shenzhen, China) with 150m2 of space (2 classrooms, reception area, 2 toilets and large storage area at the back of the shop).
We currently have 45 students (41 paying students) in twelve groups, a monthly turnover of a little under sixty thousand chinese yuan.
We expect 6 to 8 of the existing students not to re-sign in February but that will easily be offset by new in-takes (typically 10 to 15 per term but we can usually accommodate only a few of those due to our level testing and group strategy).
The centre is a well exposed street level venture in a busy residential area with other extra-curricular activity providers right next to us, meaning there is plenty of exposure.

Standard (international) company valuation method: 60 months worth of profits. If you have a problem with that then please do not enquire, this is standard!
With the new term starting soon, buyer will get about two thirds of their money back pretty much right away (albeit if you actually hire a teacher this will be basically your cashflow for the term and only about 10percent profit unless you start using the second classroom which potentially means doubling turnover.).

With the current 12 groups we have, we have a total of 32.5 hours per week (it's a lot of work but the independence and financial reward make it a better proposition than a "job"). It is altogether pleasant.
