We are looking to sell our operation which consists of 3 centres (fourth one in the making) and a nursery.

shenzhen, PRC. Bao'an district, near bao'an stadium (affluent and busy area with high potential for growth)

our main market is 4-12 year-olds and we have a good reputation and good teaching results despite some difficulties (there arent too many decent teachers around, unfortunately).

Our business model is sound and generates profits, albeit small; thats more than many of our local competitors can say.

we have 24, 38 and 45 students. this represents a monthly revenue of a little over CNY90K and our current operational costs stand at about CNY85K (we just hired a full time engineer which is costing us an extra 7k a month and will bring our total costs to 92k next month. we see it as a future investment towards better hardware management and general maintenance; we believe in the mid-term it will pay for itself through smoother operation and heightened comfort for both staff and clients, as well as cost reduction in certain areas and PR improvements through the building of our website which the engineer is set to develop).

we are also opening a nursery/kindergarten in two weeks; figures for this new venture are obviously not yet available but we project monthly revenues of CNY50K+ (at 80% capacity -september/october 2015) and costs CNY45K+ (at full capacity).

we currently employ 3 full time teachers (one per site) plus one relief teacher, and two full time chinese assistants per site.

we do little or no promotion (our promotion budget is under 10k a year) but keep adding students through referrals and as a result of poor teaching quality at EF and LionKing (both of which are with 5min. walk of our newest site).

Current profitability is a result of choices we have made in terms service quality and customer experience standards. Interested buyers could significantly increase profitability through better management (one of the reasons we are looking to sell is that we have relational problems at management level. those problems have been crippling our progress and expansion plans.) and new product development.

INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A RUNNING AND PROFITABLE OPERATION WITH OVER CNY200K IN PHYSICAL ASSETS AND RENTAL DEPOSITS, A GOOD REPUTATION, AND STABLE CUSTOMER BASE. IT IS MORE THAN JUST A TURNKEY BUSINESS.
