How do I Find an Article About Integrating Technology Into Science Curriculum?
By:Leyla Norman

Finding ways to expand your students' technological horizons and still teach your core material is vital in today's classrooms. Online and print articles can give you workable and creative ideas about how to bring technology into your science classroom. As a teacher, you can use a variety of ways to find articles about science curriculum and technology integration. Many article sources make finding information you need more manageable.

Look through your favorite teacher websites. Education World and Adventures of Cyber Bee are just two of the many websites that contain information on bringing technology into the science classroom. Creative ideas from other educators are shared on these websites. Adapt the ideas to the needs of your students to create some truly memorable science lessons.

Scan the table of contents of print publications for teachers. Look for keywords of "science," "technology," and "Internet" in the titles to quickly find articles of interest.

Find articles in technology and science-related magazines related to education. Search the table of contents for articles related to teaching, education, and classrooms. Keywords to consider again include "science," "technology," and "Internet," but also look for "classroom," and "education" to help you find pertinent articles.

Talk to your fellow science teachers, both online in forums devoted to science teachers, and in person. Ask for recommendations of articles they have found that have helped supplement their science curricula with technology.
