It depends. Do you also have a degree? Preferably one relevant to teaching English?

If you do there are a lot of jobs teaching ESL in the UK, although they may want more than a years experience.

Be aware though that the majority of ESL jobs in the UK will be teaching classes of mixed nationality, which is a whole different ball game to teaching a single nationality class.
