Myself and my girlfriend want to teach English in Russia, but we have no certification or college degrees. We are looking at some organizations that do not pay a salary but do provide accommodation and cover visa costs, as they tend to have more lax requirements. Whether required or not, however, we would like to get some kind of TESOL certification but do not have much money; also we live in a very small town so in-class instruction doesn't seem to be an option.

I'm wondering if there's an organization that provides affordable and reputable TESOL certification via online courses. Are all certificates the same? Or are some certificates just junk? I was looking at this website: http://www.teflonline.net/tefl-certificate/ Does anybody know anything about this organization and its certificates?
