Hello. I am currently starting my 11th year teaching junior high social studies in the USA. I'm interested in using the next year to earn an online TESOL/TEFL, etc, certification with the goal of teaching English overseas in the fall of 2012. But there are so many programs out there! How do I separate the wheat from the chaf? I don't want to put in time/money only to earn a sub-par certification. Can any of you in the field speak to how different online programs are viewed by prospective employers?
