hi viviene. i'm also an aspiring filipina efl teacher. i think the best that we could do to have competitive resumes is to enroll in a TEFL certification course. and also convince employers that being a non-native speaker is a not a downside. in fact, we could beat native speakers when it comes to knowledge on grammar and language use. we do have rigid formal education with english language from nursery to college. right?
