What is the difference between TEFL and TESOL? I'm planning on teaching english in Japan/Korea/Vietnam. Is it necessary to tk up either of these certs? Seems like they need TEFL certification in Vietnam and TESOL for Japan. Which would be a wiser choice to tk up? Another thing is, what are my chances of teaching eng in these countries since I'm not an eng native speaker. I'm from singapore, with a bachelors deg. Cos ive read somewhere that its almost impossible to be offered english-teaching positions in these countries. Can someone enlighten me pls before i get my hopes up high? millions thnks.
