I have another:
I am planning on moving to Rome to teach American English. There are two programs offering TEFL and TESOL certificates here in San Diego. The former being $2500 (TEFL Certificate: 100 hrs training geared toward International teaching) the latter approx $6000.00 (TESOL 300-400 hrs and geared for teaching in USA/abroad)and I am confused on which course to take. Would it just be better to move to Rome to take a TEFL course? I have many friend's there to help me with accomodations and good wine! 
I have other questions for you if you wouldn't mind sharing some of your hard earned wisdom with a woman smitten with Italy!---Thanks
