My interview lasted about an hour, for the first half hour they gave me a little test. The test itself is quite simple. The first three questions were asking my opinion on something related to teaching. The test then went on to ask me to explain the difference (as I would to a student) of some (slightly different) sentences. The rest I'll leave as a surprise! Don't want to give too much away!

But don't worry! I was petrified and I didn't need to be, the test was quite simple, they take into account that you may not know much about grammar (as long as you can speak well and explain well they just ask you to learn the grammar before the course starts). The next half hour one of the course tutors (who was lovely) asked me questions about my test, and a little about my application and then generally had a nice chat with me, making sure I knew how intensive the full time course would be and when he offered me a place he explained what I needed to prepare for it properly (which I am doing right now, though admittedly procrastinating a little!).

So don't be nervous, DO revise some grammar basics (just basic grammar, not the difficult technical stuff, but acknowledge I didn't know what a pronoun was and still got in), be enthusiastic, well presented and watch your English when you're talking to the interviewer (no slang, good clear pronunciation). if you have any kind of experience with foreign students (doesn't matter if it isn't teaching experience, I didn't have any) then sell it well! But really, just be yourself and have fun.
