Recent college grad considering teaching English overseas (CELTA vs TESOL)

There's a lot of debate about this subject. The TEFL certificate is probably adequate for most entry level jobs and it's very well known around the world. Most jobs ask for a degree and a TEFL cert, for example. The CELTA is an advanced TEFL cert and some jobs will specifically ask for a CELTA. They're usually slightly better jobs.
The majority of teachers have a TEFL cert and a degree.
