I have been offered a place on a TESOL course with 175 hours of learning, but have since been advised by an English Teacher elsewhere to do the CELTA as it is the more 'serious' of the two courses. Is this true, anyone? Celta offers 120 hours of learning. Is there a difference in terms of employment? I intend to make a long-term career from this. ANY advice greatly appreciated!
