You might consider a university based CELTA course. Some universities, at least in the UK, run courses under the control of their Modern Languages department so you can be assured that your instructors will be well-qualified and experienced. With your background, perhaps you might consider teaching Business English at an international business school ( make sure it has some recognisable accreditation), and a CELTA would give you some edge and also some practical assessed teaching experience.
