I'm planning to take a TESOL course in Bangkok, Thailand this coming summer. But they require students to pay $500 in advance, that's almost the whole tuition fee for 3 weeks (the normal fee is $750). But it's not our(the Chinese people) custom to pay people in advance lest we be cheated. So I hereby to inquire people who have studied there before about this rule， is it safe for me to pay that fee in advance? What if I am cheated?
