You can do your TEFL/TESOL training in Hong Kong, but, its quite expensive as its around the US$3000 mark.
There are two TEFL International schools near to Hong Kong as well. One being in Zuhai and the other one in Cebu.
Last year, when I arrived in Hong Kong. i opted to goto Cebu, to complete my TESOL training. I was there for just over a month and it was the best money I've ever spent. Cebu is a great place to work and study and it was money well spent. And the money side is one big bonus too as the cost of living in Cebu is a lot less than HK & China.
