I need some advice from any ESL/EFL teachers or students out there, please.

I'm currently applying to two different grad schools to become an ESL/EFL teacher. One is at Portland State University in Oregon, which has an MA in TESOL program. The other is at the University of Oregon, and is actually an MA program from the Linguistics department, called the "Language Teaching Specialization MA."

If, hypothetically, both accepted me, which one would be a better program to put on a resume?

Also, has anyone heard about the reputations, good or bad, of either of these schools? A friend of mine said Portland State is a little notorious for letting in anybody who can pay, and it would be a step down from the University of Oregon... I never paid attention to things like that before, and I don't know anything about ranking schools.
