Simply put, they don't. Working as a Foreign generally means no benefits period. This isn't always the case, but as far as retirement benefits go, I don't think so.
Working as a foreign teacher gives you a lot of extra freedoms, however it has it's drawbacks. If you want benefits for your old age, you'll have to save yourself, you won't be getting them from places like China for example.
