Anaheim University has launched a new online TESOL Certificate in Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL). Designed and overseen by Anaheim University Dean and world-renowned linguist Dr. David Nunan, the Certificate program can be completed 100 percent online in 15 weeks. New courses begin on the first Monday of each month. Program highlights include engaging Online Discussion Forums and weekly video lectures and interviews given by Dr. Nunan. The program is designed for teachers, teachers in preparation or intending teachers and offers a practical introduction to English Language Teaching for children and links practice to theory and research. The program offers students the opportunity of developing a solid pedagogical foundation towards teaching English to children through instruction in the following areas: Who is the "young learner?"
