TESOL, TEFL and CELTA forum
Personally I don't like the sound of this.
It's a matter of finance. A CELTA is - give or take - around 1,500 USD or so. If the school offers the CELTA for free then they will have to make up this money somehow so they will therefore pay the teacher less for the following year. Probably a lot less. In other words, the school is getting a qualified teacher at less than the going rate and the teacher will most likely end up paying more for the CELTA course than if they had bought it outright from the start.
These kind of offers along with the "buy now for a 10% discount" debase the TEFL industry in my opinion and turn it into a used-car kind of business.
I don't think it's professional and in the long run it's not good.
