I didn't read your entire post because it was too long.

I am certified through TESL Canada. Their advanced course includes 13 modules and a four day practicum. On average a module takes one week (unless you're super grammar girl and already know how to make full lesson plans) if not then it should take the 13 weeks as each module is more difficult than the last. There are also corresponding textbooks for each individual module. If you are a super grammar girl, at least the reading will slow you down. The markers for each module are excellent and know their material 100% so there is no fooling anyone if you don't do the work correctly.

The practicum is also taught in an ESL location with ESL certified teachers. They mark according to how well you know and deliver the material.

You can complain all you want, but until you have all the facts you might just want to slow down with the massive messages. I am prepared and I learned more grammar in the 13 weeks studying with TESL Canada than I did in my entire schooling career (if you can call it a career).
