Hello! I'm scheduled to take a CELTA course in Spain this summer. The program sent me learning materials to study before the course, so I've been working on "Grammar for English Language Teachers" by Michael Parrott in preparation. I'm finding I don't always understand the material. Was anyone else confused or couldn't understand grammar jargon before taking a course? Did the course help you understand? (Although my understanding is you have to know everything about grammar well prior to the course because the point of the course isn't to teach YOU grammar).
