My name is Anna. I am 34 years old. I am a Russian online teacher and tutor. Russian is one of my native languages. I live in Chernihiv, Ukraine.

I have worked as a teacher of English at a secondary school. I have also worked for Chernihiv State Institute of Economics and Management. My activities at the Institute were mostly focused on Program in American Studies, a joint Washington State University-Ukraine project in American Studies curriculum development. I have been giving private lessons of Russian and English to adults and children for many years.

In 2014 I started tutoring on Skype. I teach Russian, Ukrainian and English.

I am also a technical translator from English into Russian and Ukrainian (and vice versa).

As for my online lessons, I work with both beginners and advanced learners. I am rather resourceful and creative.

What do my lessons look like? They are interactive. The foundation stone is individual approach. Each lesson is based on a student’s level, needs and preferences. I have chosen the middle ground between grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and conversation. In fact, I pay much attention to speaking. Communicating with a native speaker is the best way to learn to speak fluently and to form proper pronunciation. I use a wide variety of textbooks, videos, presentations, podcasts and other materials. And last but not least — I’ll also be your guide to Russian culture. This is a fascinating journey through time and distance. And the route is up to you!

I also teach Business Russian. Moreover, I’m not only a theoretician, but a practitioner as well. I have also worked as an economist and export-import manager, so I have used my Russian/Ukrainian/English in real business situations. Business/Commerce and Legal are also my working translation fields.
