Hello, I'm Stephen. I am a native English speaker.

I come from rural Australia but I have also spent time overseas, including two years working in London, England, and a childhood period in a non-English-speaking city. I majored in Ancient History (including ancient languages) at Macquarie University in Australia and I studied Politics there as a minor.

I have several years’ experience in private tutoring and academic proofreading. I can teach you conversational English over Skype or in person, starting at beginner's level. If you are already somewhat proficient in English we can begin at a more advanced level. I’m happy to proofread for anyone who is working on essays or writing academically.

If you wish, we can arrange to have a free 30 minute demonstration lesson. After this the cost is $20 (USD) per hour. Discounts are available for multiple bookings, and payment can be made through PayPal or by credit card.
