Hello this is John, an American from Springfield, Missouri that has taught at an international English academy for over 2 years and online for 3 years. (5 years total)

Classes taught: pronunciation, grammar, idioms, expressions, vocabulary, slang, IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL and lots of conversational English.

My favorite conversation topics are: Cultural differences, Economics, News and Travel.
Many teen and adult students enjoy "Diary of a Wimpy Kid." You will learn common spoken English, American culture, pronunciation and a little grammar.

Beginners: usually there is a focus on pronunciation and vocabulary words.
Children under 10 enjoy "story time." I tell a 10-20 minute story that they enjoy, spend 5 minutes on pronunciation and 10-15 minutes doing other things such as: manners, "show and tell" and games.
High School kids can choose whatever they want. Some ask for help with school subjects that they are having difficulties with such as: math, sociology, history, English ……
You will also receive a few ESL E-books, a list of new vocabulary words and expressions, and a recording of our classes.

My working hours are from 5pm to 1am California time (PDT)
or China time 8am to 4pm.
Cancellations are charged at half the price. Things come up, I understand.

Rate is $12 per hour (usd) or $6 per half hour
