ABOUT ME
Hi - my name is Sheila

I am an English tutor for more than 3 years now.

I specialise in teaching conversational and Business English for all levels; IELTS and TOEFL speaking parts; and preparing students for interviews.

At the same time, I also teach Filipino for individuals who are enthusiastic about learning my mother tongue.

If you employ me as your tutor, I will make sure to pin down the issues you feel you need help with, and structure our tutorials around how you feel most comfortable learning; working together to improve your work / ability, using each tutorial to focus on and achieve a specific technique or skill.

My schedule is relatively flexible, so feel free to get in touch with an email and we can work out what times / hours work best for both of us.

The one thing I have learned throughout my time in education is this: that success in our education system is (for better or worse) almost entirely comprised of simply ticking boxes - whether it be in an essay, or in an interview. As your tutor, I will help you understand what those boxes are, and show you how to tick them. Once you've understood this framework, you will undoubtedly see improvement. It's that simple.
