The Virtual Classroom of Berlitz Languages, Inc is currently looking to hire a native Arabic instructor.

We provide training, and also teaching materials. Instructors do not need to write their own lesson plans, as we provide them.

We ask instructors to give us a set 18 hours of availability per week (four 4.5 hour shifts). We work in 45 minute teaching units (most classes are two units - so 1.5 hours in real time, some are three units - 2.25 hrs in real time).

The position is freelance, but we pay on a monthly basis according to the actual number of units taught.

The range is usually 50 to 70 units per month. Some months are relatively quiet and others quite busy.

There tends to be down-time during shifts. On an average, most teachers have about 50 to 60% utilization of their shifts – which means 10 to 12 hours of teaching per week.

This is a supplementary position, obviously. We can discuss remuneration when we chat on Skype..
