Online ESL teachers

FirstLeap Institute, one of the leading English Language training schools for Children in China, is looking to hire passionate, talented, and committed native English speakers as Online ESL Teachers.

Main Responsibilities
 Teach online ESL lessons (FirstLeap will provide a standardized curriculum) to children ages 3-12 in group lessons with up to 4-6 students in a virtual classroom
 Follow the R&D guideline to modify/design lesson materials for students according to FirstLeap’s curriculum standard (Standard teaching material will be provided by FirstLeap R&D in most cases)
 Evaluate student progress and provide ongoing comments for continuous improvement to both students and their parents (using after class memo and/or WeChat APP)
 Take online training conducted by the FirstLeap training team and complete all necessary preparations before teaching classes to ensure a high quality of teaching and customer satisfaction.

Desired Skills and Experience Qualifications
 University or college degree
 Native English speaker
 Resides in the United States
 A TEFL or TESL Certification is strongly preferred. (FirstLeap can sponsor selected candidates to study and obtain such professional certification under employment condition)
 Public or private school teaching experience, preferably preschool or primary school teaching experience (a big plus)
 Online teaching experience( a big plus)

Salary
 Part time position pays $15.00 USD per teaching hour. (Salary subject to grow in the future)
 Annual bonus for part time employees, who work for a full year with a minimum of 600 teaching hours.
 Long term full time position available to qualified candidates.
