Hi! My name is Teacher Maria. I've been teaching English online as a secondary language to Korean, Taiwanese, Japanese and recently Chinese students for over 6 years now. My hobbies include watching English movies, reading novels, singing, doing yoga exercises, Zumba dancing and playing volleyball just to keep fit, trim and healthy.

Having been an English teacher for years, I am versatile, confident and very experienced in handling different levels of students, from the basic to the advance, with diverse cultural backgrounds.

My English lessons are informative and fun. I offer a free trial lesson for 25 minutes so that students can evaluate my performance as well as to give them a brief information on the type of lessons that they would be getting and if such meet their expectations. In every 25 minute lesson I usually incorporate it with conversation, especially grammar so that learners would not find it boring. My lesson fee is $8.00 per hour so it's very affordable to everyone.

I teach Phonics for starters, General English, Business English for professionals and English Test Preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC and OPIC, which are my field of expertise. Being extremely dedicated in ensuring my students a rewarding, learning experiences, I have helped them achieving their goals in studying English be it in writing, reading, listening and Speaking, depending on their field of interest.
