Would you like to join our team? ZIGZAG English is currently recruiting teachers on a contractual basis.

We are an online provider of English language tuition. We provide professional, friendly, individual language lessons to English Second Language learners from across the world.

As a ZIGZAG English teacher in Australia, you will be able to conduct your online lessons from home or from any location where there is access to a fast, reliable internet connection.

ZIGZAG English teachers can choose to work part-time (teaching 2-14 hours per week) or full-time (teaching 15+ hours per week). Both part-time and full-time schedules are agreed upon on a fortnightly basis.

If you:
• Live in Australia and are eligible to work in Australia
• Are a native English speaker
• Have a qualification to teach English as a Second or Foreign Language
• Have a minimum two years ESL / EFL teaching experience
• Are able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Have or are prepared to acquire an ABN (Australian Business Number)
• Have a laptop / computer that supports Skype
• Are familiar with and prepared to use interactive computer technology as your teaching medium
• Could teach learners across a broad range of age, ability and interests
• Can prepare innovative and appropriate teaching material
• Can deliver engaging one-on-one teaching sessions
• Can provide feedback to enhance a learner’s progress
• Are reliable and patient
• Are ready for a challenging and exciting teaching role
