Hello, my name is Steve, and I have been teaching conversational and Business English (as a second language) for over five years in Tokyo, Japan, and for a brief time in London, England (teaching Italian students).

I am a native English speaker, and I come from Manchester, England.

I'm very patient, friendly, relaxed, and most of all, I'm a good listener. I'm familiar with British English & American English.

I provide detailed written notes (with mistakes written down as well as new words and phrases), and I try 100% to make my lessons fun, customised and educational. At the end of every lesson I will give feedback and we will look at ways to improve your English.

Instead of following a textbook to learn English we can simply talk and focus on making you sound more natural (however, if you wish to use your own textbook, that is fine).

In the lessons, we can focus on:

* Pronunciation

* Expanding your vocabulary.

* Natural English (word choice, sentence structure, phrasal verbs)

* Understanding and using idioms

* Writing skills (checking reports or homework)

* Building up your confidence

* And much more …

I can offer private lessons in a local cafe or library, or wherever you wish. I can also offer mini-group lessons (1-3 students). I am based in St Julians, so I can teach in the Sliema, Gzira, Msida, St Julians area.

I have recently arrived in Malta (August 2015) and I'm available to teach immediately. My schedule is quite flexible, so if you're interested, please let me know a convenient day and time for you.

The rate is 15 euro per hour or 25 euro for two hours (which works out as 12.50 euro per hour). The price is reasonable compared to what you would pay for private lessons in an English school (roughly 45 euro for a 45 minute lesson). We can take a trial lesson, and if you are not completely happy with the lesson, you don't need to pay any money!

I also have a Facebook page - www.facebook.com/PEJLMalta

If you're interested, you can email me, or send a message on my Facebook page.

Thanks for reading, and feel free to contact me anytime!!

Steve
