With the rapid growth of online 'schools' comes the rapid growth of scams and of morally bankrupt operators (the equivalent, for example, of bad schools and bad recruiters in China).

Protect yourself: Do a thorough research, ask to speak to some of their tutors, make sure you have well vetted anybody who wants to have you teach online without pay for a long period.
