Who we are and what do we do?
We’re a very small startup based in Beijing, China called Aimlesson Academy, and we are focusing on helping Chinese students to learn English with North America or UK teachers online (one on one, live video like Facetime of an iPhone).

How do we do?
We are developing a website which is basically a virtual online classroom enable both teachers and learners video chat online at their comfortable homes, by taking advantages of the internet, Chinese students are able to learn from the native English speakers online now, no matter where the students are, even located the most remote area, as long as the internet can reach, students and teachers are just a video call away.

WHY do we do it?
The founder, Jianqiu “Jian”, of aimlesson has been trained as an architect in Beijing, and then he was accepted by Columbia University but eventually decided to go to Georgia Institute of Technology for his further education under the full Nix Mann fellowship, he also participated in some prestigious international programs such as Maximal Change in Technische Universit?0?1t Berlin, Germany and Sustainable Urban Development in KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. Even though all the education and experiences were architecture-related, Jian began to realize the benefits of English, he absorbed enormously from English world: history, art, science, technology, and even working opportunities were increased. Jian started Aimlesson Academy in Sep. 2015 to help more Chinese to go international, the language – English – shouldn’t be the barrier to stop them to do so; if anyone wants to learn English, Aimlesson Academy is now offering an opportunity to learn from the best (native speakers).

Jian also believes language is not the final destination but rather a new start point, there is much more to learn once the student conquered the barrier, just as Aimlesson Academy slogan said: language and beyond.

Who are our customers?
we are targeting at a niche market: 5-12 years old children, maybe some adults too.

Therefore, we sincerely invite English teachers to join us together and walk through this entire entrepreneurship together, and here are our wishes:

Native English speakers from UK, US, or Canada with British or American accent; UK, US or Canadian citizens are preferred.

Availability to teach at least 7.5 a week (including Saturdays and Sundays)

Bachelor's degree in relevant field (such as Education, Linguistics, Languages etc.) but this is not a requirement if you have enough English teaching experience.

Experiences in teaching 5-12 years old children.

ESL (English as a Second Language) teaching experience are HIGHLY preferred, because you will be facing Chinese kids who don’t speak English at all.

Currently holding certain teacher certification/license/etc. are preferred.

High-speed internet connection and audio/video capability.

Passionate in teaching kids.
