My name is Dessi Ivanova and I have a Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and completed coursework towards PhD in Applied Linguistics from Penn State University, USA. I have taught English in the USA, Canada, Bulgaria and Turkey. Currently, I am an English language instructor at Sehir University in Istanbul, Turkey. I would like to maintain also an online language teaching practice through Skype. For many years I have been teaching online students from Korea and Japan, and, occasionally, from other countries as well. I teach lower to advanced levels of English in all four language skills, i.e. listening, speaking, writing, reading. My expertise also includes teaching academic writing skills and oral presentation skills.
