freelance online ESOL/IELTS Tutor

Pay:
£10-15/hour (depending on experience, qualifications and type of assignment). Starting rate £10/hour

Job description:

To provide online support to speakers of other languages via our online platform.

To plan and deliver online lessons (mainly speaking/listening) in accordance with the ESOL curriculum, CEFR descriptors or syllabus provided by the school.

Tutors must have a PC with camera, microphone and reliable (fast) internet connection.

Working hours are from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday- Saturday. The position is part-time initially, with the potential of becoming a full-time job for the right candidate.

Person specification:

Essential:
•level 5 or above Teaching qualification (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA etc.)
•in depth knowledge of the ESOL curriculum and CEFR
•Bachelors degree
•12 months teaching experience
•IT literate (proficient in using MS office, skype, email etc.)
•at least one professional reference
•professional, organised, empathetic
•able to motivate students
•reliable, responsible, easy-going
•understand cultural and social barriers students may face
•have a DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one

Desirable:
