Part time online course teacher

Position Available: Online ESL Teacher

School Stage: Chinese Students in grade 7th – grade 9th

Student English Level: Beginner

SSE are looking for ESL teachers for our young students. We look for teachers that are great and patient with children, who teach English as a foreign language to students in China via gotomeeting.

Our mission is to provide the American elementary school and middle school experience to Chinese children--all from the comfort of their homes.

The classes are conducted from your own home, meaning you can conveniently save on transportation time and costs. Teaching material is provided, significantly cutting down on class preparation time. Our class will be at night on weekdays or on weekend.

The job is ideal for those wanting to add some hours to their weekly teaching timetable.

1）Qualifications

- Native English speaker from the USA

- Experienced teaching with children between the ages of 5-16

- ESL and phonics teaching experience

- Must have a TEFL / CELTA certificate and a teaching credential

- Online teaching experience, preferred

- Have a high-speed Internet connection

- Be outgoing, enthusiastic, friendly and hard-working

- Be a confident computer user

- Service teachers preferred

2）Responsibilities

-1-on-15 to 1-on-20 online full immersion English language and content classes

-Teach American curriculum, based on the Common Core State Standards

-40-minute highly engaging lessons

3) Job details

Work hours:

Monday-Friday 8-10pm EST, and Saturday-Sunday 8-10am or 8-11pm EST.

Payment:

Our teachers receive a pay of US$ 20-$35/lesson hour based on experience and qualifications. (40 minute is one lesson hour)
