You Can Create Webpage Pages For Starting Websites Owners
By:Michael C. Miller

When you want information readily available, you know what to look for in a website. If you're starting out in the whole website owning scheme, then you should know some important pages to have in your site. These pages provide you with the credentials and basic information to get your site up and running. Most importantly, these pages make your site well known among the popular other sites available on the web.

Updates Page
This portion of your website is important because it tells your visitors what is going on with your website. It informs them of what is being updated. This can act more like a news page for your website. This helps visitors keep track of what's new in the content. You should periodically update your website so that visitors can come back and expect more. This page is important for your website because it also lets you keep track of your progress.

About Page
For all newbie website owners out there, this should not come as a surprise why this page is important to have. Besides containing the relevant and fundamental information on your website, it can act as a reference or source of credibility. People tend to doubt information on a website with no means of knowing who the owner is. This page can provide such evidence.

Make sure to have one that provides information using concise formats. Do not have 400-word write ups consume the page because that would become ideal for a subpage. This page must contain facts and figures such as website experience and other facts about the site. Be careful when placing sensitive information such as your full name and other details.

Contact Page
Your visitors are the life of your website. You should have a this page ready so that they can tell you their comments and suggestions. This can also help build a relationship between your visitors as your site is up.

A very accessible contact page will contain input fields right on the page. Some pages simply contain an email to contact if the visitors have comments or suggestions. Although this practice is direct and to the point, you should make it easy for your visitors to contact you. You would not want them logging on to their email accounts just to tell you your site is great or something. They don't have enough time on their hands!

Search Page
Your visitors will really be happy if you have a search function on your website. This is more of a function than a page, but this focuses more on the resulting page. If you plan on having lots of content, then it is time you placed a search function as early as possible! It lets your visitors take less time to get what they want. They can just search the information they need. Even though you're starting out, it is always a good choice to have the search function.

Whether you are as seasoned website designer coming back to the playing field or a rookie just starting, you should always consider the important pages in your website so that you can have consistent traffic and satisfied visitors.
